A4 Architects is a multi-disciplinary architects practice that was established in December 1999 but which can trace its ancestry through its principles back to A.J Cornelius and Silvanus Trevail in 1871. Based in Truro, Cornwall the practice has built its reputation upon quality of service, and drawings combined with speed and efficiency to meet client’s individual needs. The Practice operates in both Cornwall and Devon and currently has sites as far east as Chudleigh and as west as St Just in Penwith. Combining the latest laptop technology from Apple Mac and CAD software we can provide a flexible RIBA service that enables us to undertake consultations and presentations outside of our offices and respond to the immediate needs of Clients and Contractors by producing and issuing documentation on site. Our commitment to a sustainable environment is not only reflected in our architecture but throughout the company, the use of a 600cc Smart car for all journeys out of Truro and the encouragement to walk or cycle to meetings within the city ensure our carbon emissions are kept to a minimum. In addition the use of the planning portal and electronic mail limit our paper consumption In addition to being a RIBA Chartered Architects and TRADA members, our staff currently holds professional membership of the following professional bodies, RIBA, CIAT, CIOB, RICS, AAT and all staff that visit site hold platinum level CSCS cards.
